Topsoil and its Revival is Earth's Survival.

2 to 8 inches of depth covering fertile land takes nature around 100 years to create each inch of topsoil. This is made possible by a complex SOIL MICROVERSE understood only under the microscope.

Humus & the Chemistry of Soil

Why Newearth Exists

In the last 150 years, the Earth has lost over half of its topsoil due to intensive chemical-based agriculture and other reasons. A staggering 24 billion tonnes of fertile or 12 million hectares of topsoil are lost along with 27,000 bio species every year.

Once lost, regenerating the topsoil, would take many years, and experts warn of the end of agriculture if we continue at the current rate. Without healthy and alive topsoil, the Earth’s capacity to sequester carbon, filter water, improve pollinator habitat and produce food would go plummeting down making it a matter of grave concern as it would directly impact food and water security.

At NewEarth, we focus on regenerative topsoil technologies that have carbon sequestration capabilities to power community and local initiatives.

We work with industries who need to manage their organic waste by combining it with horticultural waste and fermenting it with advance microbiological applications. The resulting material is an organic topsoil where biological reactions inthe formation of humus have already begun. This rich pre-fostered topsoil is high in humic materials and microbiological activity.

What is NewEarth?

As its name suggests, NewEarth is an organically based product in which the biological reactions which result in the formation of humus have already been started. This pre-fostering of humus allows you to speed up the natural process of humus formation in your soil.

NewEarth is a fully matured top-soil enhancer made from totally organic inputs which contain high levels of humic materials together with a range of beneficial microbial activity.

How does it benefit my crops?

NewEarth supports the development of naturally healthy soil. Healthy soil microbes have been linked with reduced incidence of disease outbreaks as well as with much more efficient nutrient transfer to plants.

Specific functions of the beneficial microbial cultures fostered by Newearth TopSoil include:

• Manufacture of water in the soil

• Fixation of Nitrogen from the air

• Mobilisation of Phosphorus reserves in soil

• Capture of CO2 from the air and use of it to make sugars

• Manufacture of energy storage compounds like ATP

• Manufacture of antibiotic substances which help protect against disease

All of these functions help build healthy soil and assist in excellent plant growth.

A Revolutionary Breakthrough

Microbes responsible for bacterial photosynthesis thrive in the Newearth TopSoil process and foster the fixation and mobilization of additional carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and numerous trace elements from their environment.

Carbon is a key ingredient in the formation of humus. Carbon in soil is generally understood to come primarily from organic matter and is converted into humus by microbes. It is important to note that this process is not the same as what happens when organic matter is composted.

Soil benefits of Newearth TopSoil

A Microbial Incubator – NewEarth acts as a cosseting media which allows the establishment of important soil cultures in otherwise difficult circumstances. These organisms are responsible for fixing carbon, feeding energy, nutrients, and water into the soil profile.

Promoting beneficial fungi – NewEarth assists in the development of a range of beneficial fungi species which provide antibiotic support to plants as well as performing important functions in the formation of soil particles and in the development of nutrient transfer cultures around the roots of plants.
